Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, model and influencer Georgina Rodríguez, in a civil ceremony in Portugal, according to reports from Portuguese media.
The couple reportedly exchanged vows on 11 August in Cascais, a coastal town near Lisbon, with their five children said to have attended the ceremony.
Ronaldo appeared to confirm the marriage on Instagram by sharing a photograph of two hands wearing wedding rings, believed to be his and Rodríguez’s. He described the moment with a celebratory message, while the post quickly attracted more than 20 million likes within 8 hours ago.
Ronaldo and Rodríguez have been together for around a decade. They first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working while Ronaldo was playing for Real Madrid.

The couple announced their engagement on 11 August 2025. Rodríguez shared a photograph of her engagement ring and wrote in Spanish: “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives.”
Their relationship has grown into one of football’s most recognizable celebrity partnerships, with the couple raising their family together.
Ronaldo, one of football’s most prolific goalscorers, has played for Sporting CP, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr and Portugal. He has scored nearly 1,000 career goals and recently appeared at his sixth FIFA World Cup, matching Lionel Messi’s record for the most men’s World Cup appearances.
The reported wedding marks a major milestone for Ronaldo and Rodríguez after years together and a growing family life away from the football pitch.
The couple’s decade-long relationship has now entered a new chapter — as husband and wife.
